1999
With a dense ruby color that is both deep and brilliant, the wine appears younger than its years; the initial impression on the nose is a timid expression of red fruit, which grows with its exposure to air. On the palate, well-incorporated ripe tannins give a supple impression that belies the wine’s true structure. The finish is fresh and long, underscoring the predominant elegance which continues for quite some time. In fact, beneath its simple facade is a wine with a balanced structure and well-defined flavors. Already excellent with white meats, poultry or charcuterie, this wine will easily improve with several years of aging.
