2004
The 2004 harvest benefitted from the installation of a new sorting system in the cellars which permitted severe selections. The first label represents only 60% of the total volume, and the final assemblage contains 68% of Cabernet Sauvignon, a proportion rarely ever achieved. Among the wine’s attractions are well-defined flavors, a clean impression on the palate and an admirable finish. Long, dense and very balanced, it displays beautiful red fruit aromas, highlighting cherries in particular. The wine offers a satisfying combination of freshness and smoothness, with tannins rounded off by the new oak during aging. This is far from being ready to drink at its best, and shows a particularly attractive potential for aging.
